Italian doctors turn Vonn's sister's head

Lindsey Vonn became a tragic figure at the Olympic Games. However, she has since regained some of her smile – thanks in part to her sister.

Lindsey Vonn experienced a sporting tragedy in Cortina d'Ampezzo. In the Olympic downhill, where she had hoped to achieve legendary status, she was plunged into tragedy. Just seconds into the race, the 41-year-old crashed heavily, suffering a severe lower leg injury. Vonn required multiple surgeries.

Always by her side during this difficult time: her sister Karin Kildow. Karin not only cared for the seriously injured Lindsey, but also constantly cheered her up. And now, with a viral Instagram post, Karin has proven that the family's good spirits have long since returned.

“Delete your dating apps”

The video shows the many handsome doctors at the hospital in Treviso where Vonn underwent several operations. Karin Kildow commented: "Delete your dating apps and just go to an Italian emergency room." She then added with a laughing emoji: "I knew this story (Vonn's injury, ed.) would have a positive side in the end."

Finally, Karin adds: "No, seriously! A really big thank you to the kind and caring doctors and nurses who helped Lindsey." The Vonn family is now back in the USA, where Lindsey underwent another operation after her four surgeries in Italy.
