Italian double victory in the European Cup

In the second giant slalom race in Oppdal (NOR) on Wednesday, the Azzurre achieved a double victory – and not an ordinary one, but an ex-aequo victory.

Giorgia Collomb won the giant slalom on Wednesday in Oppdal – together with her teammate Ilaria Ghisalberti. The two Italians were exactly the same speed after two runs and thus shared the triumph in the second European Cup giant slalom in Norway.

Behind the two Italians, Switzerland's Daniela Allenbach completed the podium. Sophie Mathiou (10th) and Alice Pazzaglia (13th) were two more Italians who finished in the top 15. Laura Steinmair from Gsies came in 22nd.
