David Castlunger (Abtei) and Victoria Klotz from Bolzano were part of the “Azzurri” team that finished in fifth place at the Junior World Championships Mixed Team Event on Wednesday.

The other team members were Sofia Amigoni and Lorenzo Gerosa. They were narrowly defeated in the quarterfinals by Switzerland, who would later finish third. After a 2-2 tie in the runs, Switzerland was 0,40 seconds faster. Sweden, with World Cup veteran Alexander Ax Schwartz, took gold in Narvik, Norway, ahead of Finland.
