Ski superstar Mikaela Shiffrin has to miss several weeks due to injuries sustained in a fall.

As the American announced on Monday, she will need "at least a few weeks" to be able to "withstand great forces again." Shiffrin had suffered a fall in the Killington giant slalom on Saturday on her way to her 100th World Cup victory. multiple bruises and a deep wound on the abdomen moved.
"I literally have a stab wound and pretty severe muscle trauma in my entire right area. I hope to be able to ski again soon," Shiffrin explained on social media.
