After heavy fall: Ski ace reports from hospital

The descent in Beaver Creek had a scary moment. A Swiss man had a heavy fall. He is now reporting from the hospital.

What happened? Arnaud Boisset, wearing starting number 26, took to the Birds of Prey in Beaver Creek on Friday. And the 26-year-old immediately felt the claws of the bird of prey slope. After a jump, Boisset was unable to properly control his skis when landing, stumbled, fell and hit his head on the icy slope.

A moment of shock! The race was then interrupted for 20 minutes. The Swiss had to be treated on the slopes, and when he fully regained consciousness, he was taken to hospital. It turned out that Boisset was lucky in his misfortune. In addition to bruises on his face and shoulders, the speed specialist suffered a concussion.

Now we need peace

"I'm doing well considering the circumstances. I just need some rest," the Swiss wrote on Instagram. In the picture he posted, he shows the scratches he sustained. It remains to be seen how long Boisset will be out. Last year, he was one of the Swiss ski discoveries with four top 10 places (including one podium finish/third place).
