A few days ago, Paula Moltzan's Instagram profile became quite emotional. The American skier had been skiing on Rossignol skis for 18 years, but that era has come to an end. "A lifetime full of memories, milestones, and a journey for which I will be forever grateful," Moltzan wrote.
“It all started even before I knew who I would become – as a child with big dreams and Rossignol skis under my feet. Together we pursued every goal I have ever set for myself,” said the 32-year-old.

But now the adventure is over – and a new one begins! Moltzan has become the first ever female World Cup skier to be signed by the ski brand Van Deer. The American will therefore be joining Marcel Hirscher's team. "I'm really happy to be starting this new era," Moltzan said.
Just a few hours ago, Hirscher announced that his ski brand Van Deer will also be represented in the women's World Cup. With Moltzan, the eight-time overall World Cup winner has pulled off a coup: The technical specialist won the bronze medal in the Olympic team combined in February, and a year ago she won bronze in the giant slalom at the World Championships in Saalbach-Hinterglemm. Now a new adventure begins.
