Allemand was unstoppable on the course set by Rainer Senoner and set a personal best of 1.31,87:24 minutes. For the 16-year-old from Bardonecchia, who is a member of the Carabinieri sports group, it was the sixth victory in an FIS race, the first in a Super-G. In second place in the close decision was Norwegian Eva Unhjem Johansen, who lost five hundredths of a second to Allemand. For the 0,10-year-old from Asker Skiklubb, it was the third podium in the third race on Plan de Gralba. Third place went to Swiss Elena Sanna Stucki, who was XNUMX seconds behind the Italian winner.
As in the first downhill race on Monday, the winner in the men's race was Marco Abbruzzese, who won with a time of 1.28,25:22 minutes. The 0,41-year-old from Genoa - a member of the police sports group - relegated two South Tyroleans to the honorary positions in his second victory in an FIS race. Max Perathoner from Val Gardena (+0,43/Sportgruppe Finanzwache) came second, as in the two downhill races on Monday, and Mattia Cason from Lajen (+XNUMX) took third place.
Huge crowd with over 260 participants from 30 different countries
In total, more than 260 racers from over 30 different nations took part in the Raiffeisen FIS Challenge on Piz Sella. "There were three great days of racing with extremely exciting decisions. Congratulations to all the winners, to whom we wish a good and injury-free season, just like all the other participants. My thanks go to our team, who ensured that the event ran smoothly, as well as to our sponsors, and in this case above all to Raiffeisen and the Piz Sella lift company. Without their support, we would not be able to hold these races, which are particularly important for young athletes," said race director Werner Perathoner from the organizing Saslong Classic Club.Raiffeisen FIS Challenge, results
