Snow and fog: Super-G in Courchevel cancelled

The men's World Cup Super-G scheduled for Saturday in Courchevel has been cancelled.

The predicted change in weather had arrived – snowfall, fog and therefore poor visibility made it impossible to hold the third-to-last competition in this discipline this winter.

A second Super-G race is scheduled for Sunday in Courchevel. Among those competing are South Tyrolean skiers Dominik Paris, Florian Schieder, and Christof Innerhofer. Saturday's race has been cancelled without replacement.

Swiss skier Marco Odermatt leads the discipline standings with a lead of 158 points over Friday's downhill winner Vincent Kriechmayr.
