Once again: Azzurre achieves a treble in the European Cup

Alice Pazzaglia won the first of two night slaloms in Chamonix, leaving Francesca Carolli and Beatrice Sola behind. This marked the third Italian sweep of the season, following the giant slalom in Zinal at the beginning of December, which even resulted in a quadruple victory, and the one in Mayrhofen. Celina Haller from Schenna had to settle for 21st place on Friday.

Pazzaglia, who led from the start, maintained her top position in the second run and won with a total time of 1:32,41 minutes, marking the second European Cup victory for the 23-year-old from the province of Pisa. Just a few days earlier, Pazzaglia had achieved her best World Cup result to date, finishing 24th at Kronplatz.
