Swiss ski star saves himself on one leg

The video shows Murisier accidentally hitting a slalom gate head-on during a rapid descent and briefly losing control. He lifts off the ground for a moment, with one ski briefly far above his head. In the end, he saves the unintentional stunt and just lands on one leg. Thanks to his exceptional reaction time and experience, the Swiss was able to avoid the fall, but this scene definitely could have ended differently.

The fact that Murisier loses control now and again is nothing new. In January of this year, fans of the Swiss local hero experienced a similar moment of shock during the legendary downhill race in Wengen. During a jump, the 31-year-old lost control and crashed spectacularly. His followers on Instagram were both impressed and concerned. "Technical execution: 10/10, artistic score: 9,5/10, for the elbow at the reception," wrote one fan, taking the incident with humor. Another user was reminded of the fall of individual World Cup winner Mauro Caviezel in Lake Louise, which ended badly for him.

However, Murisier, who has had to recover from serious falls on several occasions, does not seem to shy away from such risky maneuvers. His fearless behavior shows that he is willing to take any risk it takes to be the best in his sport.
