Shiffrin and Kilde: A date of a slightly different kind

Mikaela Shiffrin and Aleksander Aamodt Kilde often miss each other during the winter. The dream couple of the ski scene often have to live apart for weeks at a time during the cold months – precisely when the World Cup season is in full swing. This makes their time together in the summer all the more precious.

That's exactly what's happening right now. The dream ski couple are simply relaxing together during these warm summer days. And where better to do that than on a special date?

Breakfast on the water

Early this morning, Shiffrin and Kilde took to the water on a stand-up paddleboard – apparently near Kilde's home in Norway. The two enjoyed not only the sunshine but also some delicious food. "We're having breakfast here on the water. It's not so bad," Shiffrin said with a laugh to the camera.

The pictures also show Kilde taking a short nap on his stand-up paddleboard. And then the two were surprised by a family of ducks swimming by. Yes, Shiffrin and Kilde are really enjoying their summer.
