Spectacular ski finale at Jochgrimm

Jochgrimm is once again all about speed, tradition, and racing fever: On April 11th, the traditional season finale – the 2horn Downhill South Tyrol Cup – will take place on the Schwarzhorn slope. For the 18th time, the Auer Ski Club invites participants to this spectacular downhill classic, featuring former and current World Cup stars as well as ambitious amateur skiers.

Last year, the day's victory went to World Cup ace Christof Innerhofer (Gais), while the record holder at the 2horn Downhill South Tyrol Cup is Norbert Holzknecht (eight wins) from Grinzens (AUT).

Last year, Nicol Delago (Wolkenstein) made a strong statement in the women's competition. The winner of the 2026 World Cup downhill in Tarvisio secured her second 2horn victory and simultaneously recorded the highest speed among the women at 117,264 km/h. In the men's competition, Christoph Kompatscher (Kaltern) won the Speed Cup with a speed of 124,352 km/h. This year, there will again be a special prize for the winners of the speed category.

“We’ve been working flat out for weeks, and thanks to the recent snowfall and cool temperatures, the Schwarzhorn slope is in excellent condition. We’re looking forward to an exciting end to the season,” says Marion Darocca, head of the organizing committee and president of the Auer Ski Club, who, in addition to top-level sporting performances, is also promising another lively after-race party this year. The race starts at 9 a.m.
