Training cancelled: Nothing is happening in Crans-Montana

Heavy snowfall overnight has forced the organizers of the Ski World Cup in Crans-Montana (Switzerland) to cancel the second women's downhill training run on Thursday.

The official training session on Wednesday This still allows the downhill race to take place as scheduled on Friday, although it will start from the alternate start, as the only training run started from there. Sofia Goggia, Federica Brignone, Laura Pirovano, Elena Curtoni, Nicol Delago, Nadia Delago, Asja Zenere, and Roberta Melesi will represent Italy.


The downhill race takes place on Friday at 10 a.m. The women will compete in a Super-G the following day. The final ski race before the Olympics will be on Sunday, when the men race downhill in Crans-Montana. The Italian team will be competing in the Swiss ski resort on Thursday.
