Shocking accident involving South Tyrolean ski legend

Former Val Gardena ski racer Peter Runggaldier was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident at the Pordoi Pass.

The 58-year-old was injured early Tuesday morning, according to the Italian daily newspaper. the Adige Runggaldier was riding his motorcycle when he collided with a cyclist on the road to the well-known Dolomite pass.
