Vinatzer & Co. are ready for the night spectacle

The night slalom in Madonna di Campiglio is one of the highlights of every World Cup winter. On Wednesday (6:30/9 p.m.), six Italians, including three from South Tyrol, will be at the start.

The first run of the night slalom in Madonna di Campiglio starts at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Six Italian skiers will be competing in Trentino. Final preparations are in full swing. Thanks to the current (very) cold temperatures, the slope is in perfect condition, according to the Italian Winter Sports Federation (FISI).

Alex Vinatzer will lead the FISI team in Madonna di Campiglio. The Val Gardena native left Alta Badia with a simmering anger. Besides Vinatzer, two other South Tyroleans, Tobias Kastlunger and Matteo Canins, will be competing. Tommaso Sala, Corrado Barbera, and Tommaso Saccardi have also been nominated for the night event. The second round begins at 21 p.m.
