Weather chaos: change of plans for the speed women

The weather is once again causing headaches in the World Cup circuit. The speed ladies have to reschedule this weekend in Kvitfjell.

The original women's program in Norway would have been as follows. A downhill run on Saturday and a Super-G on Sunday. But the weather doesn't cooperate. Due to snowfall, wind and fog, the two downhill training sessions could not take place on Thursday and Friday. That has consequences.

A downhill run may only be held if at least one training session has been carried out beforehand. As a result, those responsible now had to replan. Instead of downhill and super-G, there are now two super-Gs on the program. The first race takes place on Saturday at 11 a.m. and the second on Sunday at the same time.

Who strikes?

Picking out a favorite is not that easy. Federica Brignone, Cornelia Hütter, Stephanie Venier and Lara Gut-Behrami have all already won this year. Gut-Behrami is currently wearing the red jersey of the overall leader.
