Sweden's Sandra Näslund and Canada's Reece Howden, both leaders in the overall standings, won the second race of the Ski Cross World Cup in Kopaonik, Serbia. Simone Deromedis from Trentino was eliminated in the quarterfinals.

In the women's final, Näslund pulled away early and secured her seventh victory of the season, ahead of Germany's Daniela Maier and Switzerland's Saskja Lack. A similar scenario unfolded in the men's final: Howden fended off overtaking attempts from Germany's Florian Wilmsmann all the way to the finish line, while France's Duplessis Kergomard finished third.

Deromedis finished the round of 16 in Wilmsmann's slipstream, but despite an excellent start in the next round, he had to concede to both the German and the Swiss player Alex Fiva, ultimately finishing in eleventh place. Yannick Gunsch from Matsch (24th) was eliminated in the round of 16.

The next Ski Cross World Cup event will take place on March 11th and 12th in Montafon, Austria.
