Ski flying: Insam misses qualification

The Ski Jumping World Cup finals are taking place this weekend at the Planica ski flying hill. Alex Insam missed out on qualifying for Friday's competition.

Insam finished 51st in Thursday's qualifying round. Giovanni Bresadola from Trentino (47th) also missed the top 40. The best performers were the two Slovenians, Anze Lanisek and Domen Prevc. The competitions will take place in Planica from Friday to Sunday. The women will also be competing in the ski flying event in Slovenia.
