For the first time, a World Cup weekend will take place on the Snow Ruyi ski jump in Zhangjiakou, which was last used during the 2022 Olympic Games in Beijing. Undeterred, Lara Malsiner confidently qualified for the World Cup competition.

The 24-year-old from Sterzing qualified for the competition with a distance of 91,5 meters and a total of 86,5 points. Her teammates Annika Sieff and Martina Ambrosi achieved the same. The best of the day was the Slovenian Nika Prevc, ahead of the German Katharina Schmid and the Austrian Jaqueline Seifriedsberger.

Tomorrow, Saturday, the first of two individual jumping competitions will take place in Zhangjiakou. The trial round begins at 8.30:9.30 a.m., and the start time of the first qualifying round is at XNUMX:XNUMX a.m.
