The normal hills have always suited the Val Gardena native better. In mid-December, the 24-year-old took a strong 9th place in Zhangjiakou. Despite her preference, qualifying for the top 30 is usually not a problem. On Monday, however, the Val Gardena native did not have a good jump and landed after just 107 meters. In the end, this meant only 39th place.
Her younger sister Jessica also did not make it into the main competition. She jumped 104 meters and had to settle for 54th place. Things went better for her teammate Annika Sieff. Annika Sieff, on the other hand, cleared the hurdle by a whisker (29th).
Friday in pole position
The qualification was won by the German Selina Freitag (137,8 points) ahead of the Norwegian Eirin Maria Kvandal (136,7) and Nika Prevc from Slovenia (135,8). The first round begins on Tuesday at 16.20:XNUMX p.m. The second part of the event, which is a kind of half of the Four Hills Tournament, will take place on New Year's Day in Oberstdorf.Edit Profile
