Austrian high-flyer gets wings

A pleasant surprise and a big moment in the young Austrian's career: He is now part of the Red Bull family. In an emotional post, the athlete announced that he had signed one of the coveted sponsorship contracts with Red Bull Austria. "I am speechless and overjoyed to have such a great partner at my side," Embacher enthuses.

Embacher's family and ski jumping legend Gregor Schlierenzauer were also present at the official handover of his new helmet, which was carried out personally by the German Olympic champion Andreas Wellinger. Embacher himself is no longer an unknown: the 2023-year-old already holds four junior world championship titles from 2024 and 18. In addition, he has two gold medals at the European Youth Olympic Festival and four podium finishes at the Ski Jumping Continental Cup.

High-flyers on the way up By joining “Team Bull”, Embacher joins other prominent Austrian athletes supported by Red Bull, including freeskier Nadine Wallner and Olympic snowboard champion Anna Gasser, both of whom are also known for their outstanding performances on the international stage.

The partnership with Red Bull marks an important milestone in Embacher's sporting career and could give the high-flyer another pair of wings. "I'm really looking forward to working together and am ready to give it my all," explained the aspiring ski jumper.

Austrian high-flyer gets wings

It is a huge honour for ski jumper Stephan Embacher: alongside Olympic snowboard champion Anna Gasser and freeride world champion Nadine Wallner, he is the only other winter sports athlete in the Red Bull Austria team – and he is only 18 years old.
