Prevc also wins in Japan

The women's ski jumping competition took place on the Großchance hill in Sapporo, Japan, on Saturday night. There were no surprises on the podium.

Heavy snowfall severely impacted the women's ski jumping World Cup competition in Sapporo on Sunday. After the qualification round was canceled, only one round was held. Once again, serial winner Nika Prevc proved unbeatable. The World Cup leader from Slovenia received 134,5 points for her jump of 139,5 meters, securing her 13th victory of the season with a lead of 2,5 meters over Canada's Abigail Strate (128,5 meters) and Heidi Traaserud of Norway (135,0 meters).

The best Azzurra was Martina Zanitzer from Tarvisio, who finished in 26th place, just ahead of Annika Sieff from Trentino, who came in 27th.
