Hill record in Lahti – South Tyroleans have no chance

A new hill record was set on Friday at the Women's Ski Jumping World Cup in Lahti (FIN). The Malsiner sisters, however, had no chance.

The Malsiner sisters finished 31st (Lara) and 35th (Jessica) after the competition on Friday in Lahti. This is far from what the people of Val Gardena imagine. In the second round, Nadia Sieff (18th) was the only Azzurra.

At the beginning it was also a clear story. The Slovenian Nika Kriznar set a new hill record in the final. Kriznar sailed 131,5 meters and clearly secured the day's victory. Jacqueline Seifriedsberger and Eva Pinkelnig – both from Austria – completed the podium.
