Jasmin and Edwin Coratti are the new Italian snowboard champions in parallel slalom. The siblings from Langtaufers each secured a gold medal on Wednesday in Carezza, where the Italian Alpine Snowboard Championships were held.
The men's final was an all-South Tyrolean duel between Coratti and Aaron March, in which the Vinschgau native came out on top. Junior World Champion Tommy Rabanser He reached the small final, but had to give way to Mike Santuari in the fight for bronze.

In the women's competition, Jasmin Coratti defeated Lucia Dalmasso in the final. It was the second Italian championship title for the 24-year-old from the Upper Vinschgau region. Bronze went to Elisa Fava, who prevailed against Sofia Valle.
