Grondin and Casta crown their season

This weekend, the final snowboard cross competitions took place in Canada, with the two overall World Cup winners triumphing again on Sunday.

Eliot Grondin already had the overall ranking crystal globe in his pocket before Sunday's race. Nevertheless, the Canadian gave it his all in the final race of the season, taking the stage victory at his home event in Mont-Sainte-Anne. Following the overall World Cup winner were the two Frenchmen Aidan Chollet and Loan Bozzolo.

In the women's race, the winner of the big crystal globe was already known before the final race, and here, too, overall winner Léa Casta took the win. The Frenchwoman won ahead of Swiss Sina Siegenthaler and Australian Mia Clift.
