Junior World Championships: South Tyrolean wins silver

On Tuesday, the Junior World Championships in parallel snowboarding took place in Zakopane, Poland. There was a South Tyrolean medal - but not only that.

Tommy Rabanser from Val Gardena took silver. The 17-year-old only lost in the final to Bulgarian Tervel Zamfirov. Rabanser only made his World Cup debut this year.

Mike Santuari, however, lost the small final and had to make do with Blech. In the semifinal, the 20-year-old was defeated in the South Tyrolean duel against Rabanser. Manuel Haller, another South Tyrolean, had qualified for the quarterfinals.
