March and Dalmasso race onto the podium

Aaron March from Völs and Lucia Dalmasso from Azzurra secured second place in the mixed team competition on Saturday at Simonhöhe (Austria).

March and Dalmasso were only defeated in the final by the Austrian duo Andreas Promegger and Sabine Payer. Both Italian skaters lost their final runs. In the bronze medal match, the Americans Walker Overstake and Iris Pflum prevailed against the Slovenians Tim Mastnak and Gloria Kotnik.

Jasmin Coratti from Langtaufers and Gabriel Messner from Villnöß were eliminated in the quarterfinals. They lost to Promegger/Payer in both sets.

The team competition for parallel snowboarders is not part of the Olympic program.
