Franco Ascani (83) from Milan has witnessed 16 Olympic Games live. He is a member of an IOC commission for culture and public relations.

Together with South Tyrol's CONI President Alex Tabarelli, he presented a photo exhibition about the Olympic Games on Friday in Waltherpark.

A total of 346 photographs documenting the Games, from their beginnings in 1896 (Athens) to 2026 (Cortina-Milan), are on display in four locations on the ground floor. The exhibition runs until October 4th. Former Olympic champion Gerda Weißensteiner, South Tyrol's President of the Provincial Council Angelo Gennaccaro, and Bolzano's Deputy Mayor Stefan Konder were among those who attended the opening. Representatives from the Office of Sport and several Paralympic athletes were also present.
