Matthias Weger is crowned Austrian national champion

Matthias Weger won his first Austrian national championship title in the canoe slalom in the kayak single sculls at the Alpe-Adria Cup on the Gurk in Klagenfurt on Sunday. The 20-year-old Schenner, who has been registered for the Austrian Canoe Association for two years, won the kayak singles with a three-second lead over Felix Oschmautz.
