Every year, the Red Bull Erzbergrodeo attracts a strictly limited 1.500 participants to the historic mining town of Eisenerz in Austria. They can expect 35 kilometers of unforgiving terrain, including rock gardens and "green hells." The Erzbergrodeo is considered the toughest one-day hard enduro race in the world. Stefan Schröck and Dietmar Sparer can look back on a highly successful stage of the Enduro Regional Championship in Pecoraro (Piacenza province). A total of 240 riders participated in the race, organized by the Bobbio Motoclub, covering 140 kilometers of challenging sections in the hilly Apennine landscape. Stefan Schröck, the flagship of the Scuderia Dolomiti from Bolzano, took first place in the Super Veteran category, which also puts him in the lead in the overall standings. Dietmar Sparer (in the video) of the Trial Team South Tyrol also achieved a respectable result in the Ultra Veteran class. The 1th and final round of the Enduro Championship will take place next Sunday in Carso (Gorizia). © stol
