Merano swimmers shine in Verona

The Merano SCM swimmers showed a strong performance in Verona on July 22nd and 23rd.

On Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd July the Veneto regional championships in long swimming for beginners A took place in Verona. This is one of the most important competitions in the Veneto competition calendar. The competition was held in three sections, Saturday morning, afternoon and Sunday morning. Five SCM athletes qualified to take part in this competition.

The girls achieved excellent results and improved themselves. The Merano women were able to achieve an excellent performance in the 4x100 style relay with a 10th place in an extremely competitive environment with the best teams from Veneto.
The team finished 30th out of 48 participating teams with a total of 5 points.
