Women's Tour of Flanders: Anna Zita Stricker has to give up
The 12th edition of the women's Tour of Flanders, the third World Cup race of the season, took place in Oudenaarde on Easter Sunday. Victory went to the Italian Elisa Longo Borghini, who completed the 145 km route, crossing the Oude Kwaremont and the Paterberg, in 3:50.43 hours. However, 20-year-old Anna Zita Stricker from Laas gave up and was eliminated early.
