Flick signs Bayern contract

“Now the ink is dry!” said the German soccer record champions on Thursday. There was also a photo that shows Flick signing - and that illustrates Munich's high standards: In the background you can see the Champions League trophy, which Bayern last won in their triple season in 2013.

In another picture, Flick holds the pen up to the camera and is framed by CFO Jan-Christian Dreesen, sports director Hasan Salihamidzic, CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge and CEO Oliver Kahn. Everyone wears Corona masks, Flick wears a red one with the Bayern coat of arms.

Niko Kovac's former assistant agreed with the club on April 3rd to continue working together until 2023. The people of Munich left it open whether he signed the contract with the pen that Rummenigge gave him for his 55th birthday at the end of February. But the conclusion is obvious: in the mask photo, Rummenigge is holding the pen case into the camera.

Flick signs Bayern contract

Almost four weeks after the official announcement of the contract extension with Hansi Flick, the coach has now signed his new working paper with Bayern Munich.
