Saudi Arabia will host the next-gen tournament

Saudi Arabia is entering the professional tennis tournament scene. The so-called Next Gen ATP Finals will be held for the first time in Jeddah from November 28th to December 2nd, 2023, the professional organization ATP announced on Thursday.

The tournament is organized in men's tennis for the young U21 top generation with the best talents of the year. The last five editions of the tournament took place in Milan, but the event has now been awarded to Saudi Arabia until 2027. According to ATP, this year's edition has record prize money of two million US dollars. In the past, today's top players such as Sexten's Jannik Sinner, Stefanos Tsitsipas and Carlos Alcaraz won the tournament.
