Only Passler's first prone shooting went wrong. The woman from Antholz had to turn into the penalty loop once. Otherwise, the Hofer/Passler duo showed an impeccable performance. In the end, the two Pusterers fought their way to a strong 20.000th place in front of a sold-out hut in Antholz (around 4 fans) and a real picture-perfect backdrop. In the end, they were just 10 seconds behind the third-placed Austrians.

Passler was a bit annoyed after the race because of the first prone stage, but he was able to live with fourth place. After Italy was only in 4th place after the first change, they continued to move forward as the competition progressed. Passler showed that she is already performing at a high level mentally. Hofer made use of all his experience: the Montaler only needed a single spare round in a total of four shootings. This means that the Pusterer has more than just rehabilitated himself at the shooting range – compared to Thursday.

Victory in the single mixed relay went to Germany with Vanessa Voigt and Justus Strelow. With only 2 reloaders in total, they were a bench, especially at the shooting range. Much to the delight of the many German fans in Antholz, who loudly celebrated the victory in the Südtirol Arena. At the end, Strelow entered the home straight with the flag in his hand. Second place went to the Norwegian duo Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold and Vetle Sjåstad Christiansen. Simon Eder and Lisa Theresa Hauser completed the podium.
