This season the 57th Super Bowl champion will be crowned. As usual, local fans from South Tyrol have to endure familiar hardships: the big showdown doesn't begin until Monday night at 0.30:500 a.m. The game can then last until the first hours of the morning, but many people in this country don't want to miss this spectacle - even if duty calls. However, if you look at the ticket prices for this year's edition, you're happy to accept a cozy night of sports at home. With an amount of over 50.000 euros you could have gotten one of the cheapest tickets, while some are happy to pay XNUMX euros for a box seat at the Glendale stadium.

The main players in the game are the Philadelphia Eagles, champions of the National Football League (NFC), and the Kansas City Chiefs, who won the American Football League (AFL). The two finalists left the San Francisco 49ers and the Cincinnati Bengals by the wayside. The successor to the Los Angeles Rams, who won the Super Bowl last year, is being sought.

According to experts, the two teams meet on equal terms, and the Eagles around quarterback Jalen Huts may even have a slight advantage because they have a broad and balanced team. But the Chiefs are always a force to be reckoned with. Especially since Patrick Mahomes is in good shape and, at the age of 27, has already won the big American football trophy once (in 2020 against San Francisco). Huts and Mahomes will definitely break a milestone: They are the first two African-American quarterbacks to meet in the Super Bowl.

One important point should never be forgotten when it comes to the spectacle of US sporting events, especially this event. The halftime show has been packed with the best artists in the world for years and for many is the big moment of the evening - even though it only lasts a quarter of an hour. This year, pop star Rihanna can use these fifteen minutes to delight the fans in Glendale. This follows the appearances of Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige and last year's Kendrick Lamar.
