NFL playoffs: Packers top seed

With a 35:16 win against the Chicago Bears, the team around quarterback Aaron Rodgers consolidated first place in the National Football Conference (NFC). The top seed in the American Football Conference (AFC) is the defending champion Kansas City Chiefs. Both teams also have home advantage until a possible participation in the Super Bowl in Tampa (February 7th). The NFL playoffs begin next weekend with the so-called wild card round. The Cleveland Browns qualified for this for the first time after an 18-year drought. They secured the play-off place with a 24:22 win against the Pittsburgh Steelers, who they will meet again next Sunday in an AFC duel. In the NFC, the Los Angeles Rams slipped into the knockout rounds with an 18:7 win in their duel with the Arizona Cardinals. There they meet the Seattle Seahawks around quarterback Russell Wilson.
