ASV Mals wins the national championship

In Mals, all five national championship titles were fought for and at the end of the day, ASV Mals - like last year - won all titles. Nevertheless: The spectators were able to see several close three-set games and the strength of nerves often played a big role. For the first time, new national champions in the individual disciplines were Tonni Zhou in the men's singles and Judith Mair in the women's singles.

The national championships were a prelude to the general Italian championships, which begin on Friday in Milan.

The general class badminton national championship was held in Mals last Sunday. Players from SC Meran, KSV Kaltern, ASC Berg, SSV Bozen and ASV Mals took part.
