Badminton: SSV Bozen is Italian runner-up

SSV Bozen wrote a piece of South Tyrolean badminton history today. The SSV was the first South Tyrolean team to reach the final for the Italian championship title since 2007 - and that in front of their own team. After a strong performance, the Bolzano team deservedly defeated the favored BC Milano 3-2 in the semi-finals. In the final, defending champions Mediterranea were one size too big at 1:4. For the Sicilians it is the ninth title in a row.
