Joachim Ramoser: “For me, health has priority”

For Joachim Ramoser, the DEL season, which started three months late on December 17th, is already over. The Nuremberg Ice Tigers winger hasn't played a single game this winter and will likely be out for a whole year after two knee operations.

The young Ramoser's suffering began in May 2016. While jogging in the forest next to his home in Oberbozen, the then 21-year-old tore a cruciate ligament in his left knee. What followed was a never-ending period of suffering.
