WM Hochfilzen: The Italian mixed relay is set

For the Italian selection, Lisa Vittozzi takes to the trail as the starting runner, after which three South Tyroleans, Dorothea Wierer, Lukas Hofer and Dominik Windisch, will attack. Last year, the mixed relay team at the World Championships in Oslo, with Karin Oberhofer instead of Vittozzi, clearly missed out on a top spot and ended up in eighth place. Lukas Hofer won bronze in the mass start in Khanty-Mansiysk in 2011, ending a ten-year drought without an Italian medal in the international championships.
