Sofia Goggia initially did not understand her historic triumph. The ski racer celebrated her victory in Pyeongchang with remarkable restraint, almost as if she hadn't won the first downhill Olympic gold by an Italian. “But soon the volcano will erupt,” said Goggia on Wednesday – in anticipation of the celebration at the award ceremony and in the Casa Italia.
