Comment | Raphaela Folie doesn’t deserve that

Italy's volleyball women were quietly eliminated in the quarterfinals. Raphaela Folie only saw the pitch in the 0-3 defeat against Serbia (21:25, 14:25, 21:25) when it was already too late, as Zett and Dolomiten editor Pauli Hintner believes.

After the women's volleyball team was eliminated, coach Davide Mazzanti was also criticized for his personnel decisions. Raphaela Folie, Italy's best middle blocker, was a bit ailing before the tournament, but reported fit for Tokyo, but she still mostly languished on the bench. Against Serbia she only got a chance in the third set, when the game was already decided. Editor Pauli Hintner has a clear opinion on this.
