Petra Zublasing had the first South Tyrolean Olympic ticket for Rio 2016 in her bag. On September 9, 2014, the woman from Eppan was crowned world champion in the air rifle (10 m) in Granada, Spain - and thus qualified for the largest sporting event in the world almost two years before the start of the games in Brazil. Zublasing got her second Olympic ticket, namely for the three-position competition, last year at the European Championships in Maribor, Slovenia, where she won the silver medal.

Petra Zublasing is taking part in the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro for the second time in her career. Four years ago in London, Niccolò Campriani's partner achieved two 12th places. This year, the Überetscher would like to emulate the Olympic champion - and would probably be just as happy about a silver or bronze medal.
