Third gold for Germany's tobogganing aces - South Tyroleans come away empty-handed
At the Sanki Sliding Center in Krasnaya Polyana, the German luge aces picked up their third gold medal in the third competition on Wednesday. On their debut, Tobias Wendl and Tobias Arlt were crowned Olympic champions. South Tyrol's doubles, however, were unable to have a say in the fight for the medals. Christian Oberstolz and Patrick Gruber took sixth place, Ludwig Rieder and Patrick Rastner came seventh.
