Paris as dethroned world champion: “I can only congratulate”

Dominik Paris was on course for a medal at the Super-G in Cortina for a long time, but in the end he was pushed to 5th place (see race report). In the subsequent SportNews interview, the dethroned world champion struggled with his racing tactics. “I slowed down too much,” said Paris, who also praised his successor Vincent Kriechmayr in the highest tones.
