Today is the starting signal for the Transalpine Run

The eleventh edition of the Transalpine Run starts in Oberstdorf today, Saturday, August 29th. The spectacular crossing of the Alps on foot ends after eight days, 268 kilometers and 16.300 meters in altitude in Sulden am Ortler. 300 teams of two from 30 nations, including 14 South Tyroleans, tackle the race.
