This year, 221 individual starters (including 21 women) and 60 teams of three are taking part in the alpine extreme triathlon from Naturns to the Grawand in Senales Valley. Due to the Ötzi Alpine Marathon there will be some road closures on Saturday. State road No. 3 Schnalstal is closed from km 15 Unser Frau (“Auer Brücke”) to km 5,5 “Hof am Wasser”, from 9.30:12.30 a.m. to 300:XNUMX p.m. in the opposite direction of travel (out of the valley). During this period you can only drive into the valley. The organizers ask all road users to drive slowly and carefully so as not to endanger the XNUMX cyclists on the specified section of the route. However, the municipal road in Unser Frau from the “Auer Brücke” to the “Weithaler” shoe shop is closed to all traffic from 9 a.m. to 12.30:12.30 p.m. and from the old “Försterhaus” to the “Weithaler” shoe shop from 15.00:8.30 p.m. to 11 p.m. The Sonnenbergstrasse from Naturns to Patleid is closed from 3:9.30 a.m. to 12 a.m. The closure of Fuchsbergstrasse from Innerunterstell to the junction of state road No. XNUMX at “Hof am Wasser” takes place from XNUMX:XNUMX a.m. to XNUMX p.m. During these periods, the movement of all vehicles in both directions is prohibited. Closure of the “Smuggler’s run” in the ski area: The “Smuggler’s run” from Glacier Lake to Kurzras will be closed to ski runs from 11 a.m. to 15.30:11 p.m. During this period it is only possible to climb up on skis. Skiers who want to get to the valley during the race must use the cable car. Ski runs to Kurzras are also possible until 15.30 a.m. and then again from XNUMX:XNUMX p.m.
