South Tyrol Ultra Skyrace “short”: Fulvio Dapit wins with a new course record

The first winner of South Tyrol's most extreme mountain race has been determined: With a new, incredible course record of 7:04.41 hours, Friulian Fulvio Dapit, who lives in Ratschings, won the South Tyrol Ultra Skyrace "short" (68 km/4260 meters in altitude) early on Saturday afternoon. On the original route (121 km/7554 meters altitude) everything points to a victory for Alexander Rabensteiner, who is expected in Bolzano shortly and would thus win the South Tyrol Ultra Skyrace for the third time in a row.
