Transalpine Run: Eight South Tyrolean victories in eight years

With eight victories in eight years, the South Tyrolean athletes have always performed excellently since the Transalpine Run premiered in 2005. The Alpine crossing on foot begins on Saturday, August 31st in Oberstdorf. After eight days, 257 km and 15.000 meters of altitude, it ends for the sixth time in Latsch im Vinschgau. There are 700 South Tyroleans among the 11 participants.
